OLED Tech, BFGTech GeForce 7800 GT, Logitech Z-5500 and More!
OLED Technology: An Overview @ Anandtech:
"OLEDs are the latest and most promising buzzwords in display technology. To give you an idea of their potential, imagine a cardboard-thin TV screen. Now imagine that you can roll up your TV, put it away or carry it wherever you go. Automatically, you start appreciating why millions, if not billions, of dollars are being poured into OLED research every year."
BFGTech GeForce 7800 GT Review @ HardOCP:
"NVIDIA isn't stopping here, as just as there was a "GT" GeForce 6 series of GPU, there is now going to be a "GT" GeForce 7 series of GPU as well. The GeForce 7800 GTX is at the top, and right below that NVIDIA is announcing a new GPU today, the GeForce 7800 GT. What is the best part about this? It is another hard launch, so there will be product availability today. In fact, what we have for you today is a review of a full retail package from BFGTech. It's amazing actually, we don't even need to wait for reference boards, here we are with the full retail NVIDIA partner video card, which is exactly what you will be able to purchase."
Logitech Z-5500 5.1 Channel Speakers Reviewed @ Hardcoreware.net:
"All of the Z-5500's settings are done through the "SoundTouch" control pod. Everything is set here, from the input mode, audio effects, bass/trebel levels, etc. There is also an IR receiver, to be used with an included remote. The LCD display is backlit (blue, of course), and is on whenever the speakers are powered on. Unfortunately, there is no way to disable or even dim the display, so having it reside next to your monitor in a dark room while watching movies may prove to be annoying."
Graphics card vendors pre-announce Nvidia GeForce 7800GT @ The Register:
"Graphics card makers ELSA and Leadtek have jumped the gun on Nvidia's GeForce 7800 GT launch, by announcing this morning a series of cards based on the upcoming chip."
