The Witcher 3:Wild Hunt is available today, and it’s riding a
wave of positive reviews. If you’re picking the game up for PC and you have an NVIDIA graphics card, you’ll want to download the latest driver before you fire up the game. NVIDIA released a new driver update with support for the game.
NVIDIA GeForce driver version
352.86 adds an SLI profile for Witcher 3. The driver also has new support for HairWorks, Magicka 2, and World of Warships. The update also features an improved SLI profile for Sid Meier’s
Civilization: Beyond Earth.
The Witcher series has received praise for its vast, open world, as well as its often-brutal inhabitants. You play as Geralt, a professional monster hunter who rids the land of nasty threats so people can return to their homes. If you haven’t seen the trailer for the new game, it’s worth a look, but the game preview below will give you a real feel for the vastness of Witcher 3.
Joshua Gulick
Josh cut his teeth (and hands) on his first PC upgrade in 2000 and was instantly hooked on all things tech. He took a degree in English and tech writing with him to
Computer Power User Magazine and spent years reviewing high-end workstations and gaming systems, processors, motherboards, memory and video cards. His enthusiasm for PC hardware also made him a natural fit for covering the burgeoning modding community, and he wrote
CPU’s “Mad Reader Mod” cover stories from the series’ inception until becoming the publication editor for
Smart Computing Magazine. A few years ago, he returned to his first love, reviewing smoking-hot PCs and components, for
HotHardware. When he’s not agonizing over benchmark scores, Josh is either running (very slowly) or spending time with family.
