Nikon Coolpix 7900 7.1MP Camera, PowerColor X800GT, and more!

Hey everyone. Well I finally got a chance to give the F.E.A.R. demo a run... it's all right. The game it's self, while not being anything we haven't seen before(except for the creepy little girl), seems to promise some intense action and killer graphics. However the demo seemed to need a little more polish, and unfortunately I am one of the ones who are experiencing horrible stuttering. If Monolith can iron out that issue and the other bugs that are found in the demo, we'll be in for a real treat later on this year. Oh, and speaking of the demo, Mr. Ghazi from TweakGuides has put out a quick guide for your tweaking pleasure. Now, on with the news.

HP/Compaq TC4200 Tablet PC

"As far as any multimedia use goes, watching a DVD obviously is not optimal on this display. The dark scenes are too dark, and the light scenes are not bright enough. This is to be expected of a business class notebook, though. We would therefore describe it as "capable of multimedia" but not "optimized for multimedia." For a business notebook, this can be considered a reasonably bright display. If you put it side by side with the X41, though, you can tell it is still shy of the X41's highest brightness level."

"

PowerColor X800 GT @ Bjorn3D

"Today ATI is launching a brand new RADEON(R) graphic card the X800 GT. This particular VPU is targeted at NVIDIA's GeForce 6600GT and 6800LE series of cards. ATI's partners will supply roughly 50,000 units during the launch month which means there will be quite a lot of X800 GTs available."

Sapphire X800XL Hybrid Edition @ GotApex?

"Last week I looked at the Sapphire X800XL Ultimate edition. It proved to be a good card, putting up impressive numbers, enough so that you can play the latest games at decent detail and AA/AF combinations. This week we take a look at another one of Sapphire's offerings, the X800 XL Hybrid."

Evercool F117 Nighthawk VGA Cooler @ Big Bruin

"In its latest venture into cooling Evercool has created the F117 Nighthawk Universal VGA Cooler. With a crafty, sharp looking design that resembles the state of the art fighter jet, the F117 should prove to be a pretty solid product. Evercool has provided me with one for review, so let's take a look at how it performs."

Cooler Master Blue Ice @ Viperlair

"If you're in the market for a new North Bridge cooler, the Cooler Master Blue Ice should be on your short list. If does a great job at keeping your NB chilly, and cooler parts all around can only mean a good thing."
