If MySpace and other online communities become the focus of viral campaigns the likes of which post annoying ads in untold numbers of forums around the web every day, it might have a serious impact on the future of online communities as a whole. There is no word yet on how MySpace will respond to potential viral attacks of this kind, but it might be worth watching.
