Motorola Moto Z2 Force Live Pics Leak, Phone Coming To All Major U.S. Carriers

We don’t have much longer to wait before the Moto Z2 Force makes its official debut. In fact, the launch is just a couple days away, as Lenovo/Motorola will show off the Moto Z2 Force, Moto X4 and Moto G5S at its #hellomotoworld event.

But since nothing in the tech space can remain a secret for too long these days, we have two final pieces to the Moto Z2 Force puzzle to reveal today. First of all, three images of the smartphone in the real world have popped up. All of the shots that we’ve seen to date have been renders of the device, but these new real-life images give us a better look at the device being held. We also get a clear look at the dual 12MP cameras on the rear of the device, the rear LED flash, and just thin the phone is.

If you recall from our last report, the Moto Z2 Force will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device has a 5.5-inch QHD display and doesn’t adopt the bezel-free design aesthetic that is now popular with the LG G6, Samsung Galaxy S8 and [presumably] the Google Pixel 2 XL. Motorola’s fascination with making the Moto Z2 Force thinner unfortunately means that battery capacity suffers, falling from 3,500 mAh to just 2,730 mAh.

We should also mention that the U.S. version of the Moto Z2 Force is even more crippled compared to global versions of the smartphone, which will come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The other new bit of information flowing down from one our favorite gadget leakers is that the Moto Z2 Force will be available on all four major U.S. wireless carriers.

That means, no matter if you prefer AT&T, Verizon, Sprint or T-Mobile, you should be able to pick up the device on an installment plan (or pay full price if you choose to own the device outright). This is definitely a more favorable situation than Motorola’s usual penchant of teaming up with just Verizon Wireless for product launches.

For more details on the Moto Z2 Force, be sure to tune in for our coverage from the #hellomotoworld event on July 25th.
