Minecraft Xbox One S 1TB Console Bundle, Pig, And Creeper Controllers Available For Preorder

Minecraft is an incredibly popular game that is enojoyed by people of all ages and used in some schools to teach kids about programming. Microsoft is taking advantage of that popularity with the launch of the Xbox One S Minecraft Limited Edition bundle (1TB). The console comes with a Minecraft Creeper controller, vertical stand, and a downloadable copy of the game with the Redstone Pack.

The limited edition console will ship on October 3rd in all markets but China and Brazil. Microsoft wrote in the press release announcing the limited edition console, "For the countless enthusiasts who’ve sent us their designs, posted their requests, or simply dreamt of a console built out of grass and dirt blocks – this one’s for you."

If all you really want is that cool Creeper controller for your existing game console, the good news is that controller is available as a stand alone offering. The Creeper controller will ship on September 5 and sells for $74.99. For those who prefer to game with a pink pig in their hands, a Minecraft Pig controller will ship on September 5 for $74.99. It looks like a Minecraft Pig complete with a curly tail on the back of the controller. Both controllers use the Minecraft font for key labels and look very cool. They have the same features as all other Xbox One S controllers meaning compatibility with Windows 10 PCs and 3.5mm headphone jacks.

The last time we talked about Minecraft was in April of this year when Microsoft launched a Minecraft Online Store selling curated community goods to fans of the game.
