Microsoft Office 2013 Launches Later Today
Microsoft hit the RTM (Release to Manufacturing) mark with the latest version of its ubiquitous software in October, and some users got a lengthy firsthand look at the Office 2013 Professional Plus edition in November.
There are new versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher, and Access. All are included in the Professional version, which will cost $399.99, and the Home and Student versions will do without Outlook, Publisher, and Access and will run users $139.99. Users can also opt for a $99 Office 365 subscription, which can cover up to five computers and offers 20GB of space on SkyDrive, 60 free minutes of Skype calls, and puts Publisher and Access back on the table.
In any case, we’ll all know more when Microsoft shows off Office 2013 and its new features later in New York.
