Microsoft Kicks Off ‘12 Days Of Deals’ With $99 Dell Venue 8 Pro Tablet
I’m typically not a fan of “holiday creep”, but I’ll make an exception for Cyber Monday; the one-day online mega sale has grown into a whole Cyber Week, and Microsoft is taking things even further with its “12 Days of Deals” event.
If the first day’s deal is any indication, this is going to be kind of an incredible dozen days. Microsoft is offering the Dell Venue 8 Pro tablet for just $99 on Monday, December 9th. The first 20 people who claim it in person at Microsoft stores will get the ridiculous deal for a tablet that usually goes for $299.
There are 10 more available at each store for $199, which is still an amazing deal. Keep in mind that although the Dell Venue 8 Pro doesn’t have a keyboard, it runs full Windows 8.1, not Windows RT 8.1. However, The Verge discovered that this $199 bargain is more of a “while supplies last” thing than a strict 10-unit number per store.
