Logitech has unveiled the new Logitech G Pro X Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, which has multiple switch types, including Clicky, Linear, and Tactile. The keyboard is a tenkeyless design and is aimed directly at eSports pros and those that hope they were up to the task of taking on the big boys and gals.

The Pro X gaming keyboard is built to give gamers competition-grade reliability, and Logitech says that it understands that gamers have different preferences when it comes to keyboard switches. The design of the Pro keyboard with swappable switches is to enable customization to meet the needs of each individual gamer. The keys can be removed from the keyboard with a special tool. Keycaps are attached to the switch, and the entire key and switch mechanism comes out to allow different types of switches to be easily installed. Another upside to replaceable switches is that if the text wears off the keys, you can replace them rather than replacing the entire keyboard.

The design of the new keyboard builds on the existing G Pro keyboard and its space-saving design, making it easier to take with you to tournaments. A small footprint frees up desk space for low-sensitivity mouse movement. Logitech designed the keyboard to be robust with a detachable micro-USB connector to prevent the cable from breaking at the connection point when bouncing around in a bag and between events. The RGB lighting effects allow for customizable profiles that can be stored in the keyboard's own internal memory.

Logitech offers a version of the keyboard that has non-swappable clicky switches for $129.99. The G Pro X Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with swappable switches is $149.99. Packs of 91 replacement GX Clicky, Linear, or Tactile switches for the keyboard are available $49.99 each.
