LG’s G3 Smartphone Coming This Summer With 2560X1440 Display And Super Thin Bezel
The LG isai FL sports an ultra-thin bezel on the sides and even on the top to some extent. This would pair nicely with the G3's insanely high resolution. Granted, we're talking about two different handsets here, but according to The Verge, the isai FL bears a "familial resemblance to the new G3," which means that it too will likely have a thin bezel.
Not many smartphones feature such a high resolution as the LG G3. There were rumors ahead of Samsung's Galaxy S5 launch that it would sport 2560x1440 panel, but Samsung opted instead for a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED Full HD 1080p display (432 ppi). One reason could be due to battery life -- it takes more power to drive higher resolutions, and so far, consumers seem content with 1080p.
The LG G3 will test that notion. It will also feature a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage supplemented by a microSD card slot, 2.1MP front-facing camera, 13MP rear-facing camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE, and Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
