LG To Launch G3 Flagship Android Phone On May 27th
The G3 will serve as LG's next flagship Android phone. Not a lot was left to the imagination when Sprint inadvertently leaked the G3's spec sheet earlier this month by posting a tell-all UA profile. It contained a plethora of vitals, such as a 5.5-inch qHD display (2560x1440), 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 2.1MP front-facing camera, 13MP rear-facing camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE connectivity, and Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
Even the aesthetic design might not be a mystery if recently leaked photos of the LG isai FL -- a handset destined for Japanese carrier KDDI -- ends up being the overseas version of the G3.
The lack of surprise shouldn't be a big deal when you consider the strong spec sheet surrounding the LG G3. Assuming the specs turn out to be true, the G3 is well equipped to take on the likes of the iPhone 5S (Apple), Galaxy S5 (Samsung), and One M8 (HTC).
