Leaked Photo of HTC M8 Teases Forthcoming Flagship Phone
The leaked image comes courtesy of Twitter user @evleaks, the same person who's seemingly posted a million other press shots of unreleased and unannounced products. That's to say there's a good chance this is the real deal, given his history.
The HTC M8 looks a lot like the One. There are no physical buttons on the front, and on full display is HTC's BlinkFeed home screen, which is intended to show "all your favorite content so you don't miss out on anything." You can also make out dual speakers and the front-facing camera, which is rumored to be 2.1 megapixels with LED flash.
Nothing is carved in stone, of course, though based on previous rumors, the HTC M8 could feature a 5-inch QHD display (2560x1440), quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, and Sense 6.0 painted over Android 4.4 KitKat.
