Kiefer Sutherland To Play The Voice of 'Snake' In Metal Gear Solid V

If the ridiculously explosive, fun, entertaining, and incredibly confusing trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain wasn’t enough to whet your appetite for eyepatched violence, perhaps the announcement that Kiefer Sutherland will voice Snake will do the trick.

According to CraveOnline, Konami, in conjunction with Kojima Productions, announced during a pre-E3 livesteam that the 24 actor would take on the classic role. Further, instead of simply performing Snake’s lines, Kojima Productions will use its graphics technology to capture subtleties such as facial muscle movement and other mannerisms.

(Of course, if you were a fan of David Hayter as Snake, today’s news is no good; doubly so if you never liked 24.) Here’s hoping that at some point in the game, Sutherland’s Snake shouts into his earpiece, “Chloe, there’s no time!”
