Intel's Entire Coffee Lake-S Processor Lineup Leaked By Amazon And ASUS
Intel is releasing a new batch of Coffee Lake processors, most of which are low power SKUs. Several of them appear on Amazon's marketplace through third-party sellers, and it appears ASUS has listed the full stack. The new CPUs bring the full lineup count to 23 chips with TDPs ranging from 35W to 95W, and prices ranging from just $50 for the lowest end part to $370 at the top of the Coffee Lake totem pole.
While not officially launched, leaks on Amazon and listings by hardware partners like ASUS typically indicate that retail availability is just around the bend. it has also been rumored that Intel will release a new Z390 chipset supporting 8-core processors at some point, with a SuperMicro C7Z390-PGW appearing in SiSoftware's database last November. However, we are not aware of any recent leaks in that regard. It's said (unofficially) that 8-core consumer chips will launch in the summer.
As for the new Coffee Lake-S listings (some of which we have seen before), there are a total of 17 additional SKUs. Eight of them are comprised of new Celeron and Pentium parts:
- Intel Pentium G5600: 2-core/4-thread, 3.9GHz, 54W TDP
- Intel Pentium G5500: 2-core/4-thread, 3.8GHz, 54W TDP
- Intel Pentium G5500T: 2-core/4-thread, 3.2GHz, 35W TDP
- Intel Pentium G5400: 2-core/4-thread, 3.7GHz, 54W TDP
- Intel Pentium G5400T: 2-core/4-thread, 3.1GHz, 35W TDP
- Intel Celeron G4920: 2-core/2-thread, 3.2GHz, 54W TDP
- Intel Celeron G4900: 2-core/2-thread, 3.1GHz, 54W TDP
- Intel Celeron G4900T: 2-core/2-thread, 2.9GHz 35W TDP
All of the above are dual-core processors, with the Pentium chips benefiting from Hyper Threading support. The rest of the lineup is broken up into 4-core and 6-core processors. Starting with the 4-core chips:
- Core i3-8350K: 4-core/4-thread, 4GHz, 91W TDP
- Core i3-8300: 4-core/4-thread, 3.7GHz, 62W TDP
- Core i3-8300T: 4-core/4-thread, 3.2GHz, 35W TDP
- Core i3-8100: 4-core/4-thread, 3.6GHz, 65W TDP
- Core i3-8100T: 4-core/4-thread, 3.1GHz, 35W TDP
And here is a look at the new 6-core parts:
- Core i7-8700T: 6-core/12-thread, 2.4GHz-4GHz, 35W TDP
- Core i5-8600: 6-core/6-thread, 3.1GHz, 65W TDP
- Core i5-8600T: 6-core/6-thread, 2.3GHz, 35W TDP
- Core i5-8500: 6-core/6-thread, 3GHz, 65W TDP
- Core i5-8500T: 6-core/6-thread, 2.1GHz, 35W TDP
- Core i5-8400T: 6-core/6-thread, 1.7GHz, 35W TDP
For the processors that support Turbo clocks, there is no mention yet of what frequencies they will be able to hit. Regardless, the new chips flesh out Intel's Coffee Lake line and will accommodate a wider range of budgets once launched. The only real downside is there might be some confusion due to having nearly two dozen SKUs.
