HTC One Unlocked with Android Nexus User Experience Coming in June
The phone will support AT&T and T-Mobile in the U.S., and will be priced at $599 for the 32GB model. That's unlocked and off-contract, and it'll ship with Android 4.2.2, the latest version of Jelly Bean, and subsequent software updates will be pushed directly from Google as with any Nexus device. The only color will be silver, and it'll be on sale June 26th exclusively via the Google Play Store.
We're certainly hoping to see more high-end devices offered in two editions: the OEM model, and then Google's take on it. By and large, vanilla Android trumps a lot of skinned Android versions, and being able to get those Android updates first is always a nice perk.
