HTC Is Giving Away Five One M9 Smartphones In US-Only Contest

HTC’s recently unveiled One M9 will be one of the most sought after flagship smartphones this year. While it arguably doesn’t have the design panache of a device like the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, it does bring with it a Snapdragon 810 processor with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a microSD slot (something that the new Galaxy S6/S6 Edge can no longer claim), a 20MP rear camera, and a generous 2840 mAh battery.

If you’d like to get your hands on a One M9 without paying a single penny, we have something that might be right up your alley. HTC this week announced a new U.S.-only contest that lasts through March 24 at 11:59 PM PT. Besides the requirement of being a legal resident of the U.S., entrants must also be at least 18 years of age.

To enter, you simply need to head on over to HTC’s contest landing page and enter your name and email address. You are limited to one entry during the entire contest period; so don’t go thinking that multiple submissions will increase your chances of winning. In the end, there will be five lucky winners that will receive a brand new One M9 smartphone.

Interestingly, the official contest rules suggest that the retail price of the One M9 is $599 in the U.S. That’s $50 less than the price that Best Buy briefly showed on its website hours before the official reveal of the One M9 on Sunday morning. The $599 price is also just $100 more than the going price for an unlocked One M8 if bought direct from HTC.
