Happy New Year!

It has been another great year for us here at HotHardware.com, thanks in no small part to all of you--our awesome readers! As 2009 draws to a close, we want to take another chance to thank you all yet again for being a part of our extended families and making this just a great place to work (and play!).

Happy New Year!

If you’re going to be out partying tonight, have lots of fun, but most of all be safe! We want to hear all of the stories of your debauchery tomorrow, although Saturday would be good too! We understand that some of you may not be "functional" tomorrow after tonight's partying, so we'll give you that extra day to recover. :)  The members of team HH are going to be out and about in our respective corners of the world, but we’ll be checking in with any news that breaks and will be back to our full coverage before you know it.

While I have you, be sure to set aside some reading time over the next couple of weeks, as we’ve got some hot hardware in the labs as we speak, and Dave, Mat and I are headed out to the Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas next week where there is always a lot to see! See you all in 2010!

Marco Chiappetta

Marco's interest in computing and technology dates all the way back to his early childhood. Even before being exposed to the Commodore P.E.T. and later the Commodore 64 in the early ‘80s, he was interested in electricity and electronics, and he still has the modded AFX cars and shop-worn soldering irons to prove it. Once he got his hands on his own Commodore 64, however, computing became Marco's passion. Throughout his academic and professional lives, Marco has worked with virtually every major platform from the TRS-80 and Amiga, to today's high end, multi-core servers. Over the years, he has worked in many fields related to technology and computing, including system design, assembly and sales, professional quality assurance testing, and technical writing. In addition to being the Managing Editor here at HotHardware for close to 15 years, Marco is also a freelance writer whose work has been published in a number of PC and technology related print publications and he is a regular fixture on HotHardware’s own Two and a Half Geeks webcast. - Contact: marco(at)hothardware(dot)com
