G.Skill Unveils Brawny Trident Z DDR4-4600 RGB RAM Kit For Intel Core Coffee Lake Processors

G.SKILL has trotted out another hopped up memory kit for latest hot processor launch to go along with the memory kits that it had already revealed for the AMD Ryzen and the Intel Kaby Lake-X platforms. G.SKILL's latest is specifically designed for 8th generation Intel Core "Coffee Lake" processors and includes the Trident Z and Trident Z RGB kits for Z370 motherboards.

The RAM kits are made using ultra-high performance Samsung B-die DDR4 ICs. G.SKILL's Trident Z RGB memory kit is DDR-4000MHz with timings of CL18-19-19-39 and is 32GB with a quartet of 8GB modules. The image of the charts shows some stress tests running on the memory kit that were performance with the RAM plugged into ASUS ROG MAXIMUS X HERO mainboard with an Intel Core i5-8600K processor.

G.SKILL's Trident Z memory kit has an even faster frequency rated for DDR4-4600MHz with timings of CL19-25-25-45 and is a 16GB kit with a pair of 8GB sticks at 1.5V. The validation test for this kit was performed with it plugged into an ASUS ROG MAXIMUS X APEX mainboard using an Intel Core i5-8600K processor.

For the folks using Coffee Lake processors in workstations and PCs that will be used for content creation, G.SKILL has a RAM kit aimed specifically at you. This is a DDR4-4200MHz 32GB kit with timings of CL19-21-21-41 and four 8GB modules running at 1.4V. The test results for that memory were conducted on a ROG Maximus X Formula mainboard and an Intel Core i5-8600K processor.

The last new G.SKILL memory kit is one for the sort of person that wants all the RAM they can cram into their rig and it's a 64GB kit with a quartet of 16GB modules. This kit is DDR4-3733MHz CL17-19-19-41 and was tested inside an ASUS MAXIMUS X HERO mainboard using the Core i5-8600K processor.

G.SKILL hasn't offered up any pricing details for these RAM kits at this time. We do know that the Trident Z and Trident Z RGB kits will be available via distribution partners in November 2017. There is no mention of availability on the other kits at this time.
