Hot on the heels of the launch of one of the most disruptive CPUs in recent memory, G.SKILL has announced that it has a full complement of 32GB+ memory kits that will perfectly suit AMD's latest high-end platform, Ryzen Threadripper (read our full review).
When Ryzen first launched earlier this year, hitting even DDR4-3000 seemed like it required luck, but AMD's Zen platforms as a whole have matured a lot since then, hence the reason that G.SKILL is now offering a super-fast DDR4-3600 kits for those looking to maximize their overall system performance, not just the memory (AMD's Infinity Fabric bus directly benefits from faster memory).
Both DDR4-3466 and 3600 kits are being made available with 16-18-18-38 timings, which are quite admirable for those speeds. That's also being achieved across four 8GB sticks, requiring no more than the standard fare 1.35V of juice. Another two kits, coming in at 2933 and 3200 speeds, use even tighter 14-14-14-34 timings, and again 1.35V. Not impressed by 2933MHz anymore? It might interest you to know that those speeds infuse a 128GB kit. That doesn't sound so bad now, does it?
At the moment, these exact SKUs are not found on any etailer, but Amazon is sure to stock them soon, as the current Flare X collection there is enormous.
