Gateway Introduces NV Series Multimedia Notebook

Gateway's on a roll, and we're in no position to stop them. Shortly after introducing a new pair of back-to-school desktops, the company has unveiled a new NV Series notebook. Said machine is described as "a workhorse entertainment notebook that pairs the latest notebook technologies and important one-touch buttons with excellent style at an affordable price," and with a starting tag of just $499.99, we'd say that's pretty accurate.

Starting with a 15.6" LED display, a 1366x768 resolution and Dolby Sound Room technology, this machine features an HDMI output, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a one-touch MyBackup button and a nifty 'PowerSave' button that gives users the ability to switch to a lower-power, energy conserving mode with just a single press. There's also a 320GB hard drive, a DVD burner and up to 4GB of DDR2 memory.
