GameSpy To Aid Wii Multiplayer
GameSpy, originally QSpy has been around in the PC gaming world for some time now, helping to bring hours of joyful fragging to the masses. GameSpy's popularity hasn't escaped Nintendo's interest, and now Nintendo is looking to pair GameSpy with their WiFi multiplayer service. Things should go smoothly as Nintendo and GameSpy are pretty familiar with each other, as GameSpy is available on the Nintendo DS.
"This partnership will expand our wireless community of players on Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection," Nintendo America President Reggie Fils-Aime says. "Millions of Nintendo DS users have already logged on using GameSpy's technology, and now Wii owners will be able to do the same in a fun and easy-to-use environment."
