Galaxy Tab Reportedly Landing at AT&T November 21st
If you plan on picking one up, be sure to bring your plastic. According to the leaked document, AT&T will sell the device sans contract for an "HQ Recommended" $650. Optional data plans run the same as for the iPad ($250MB for $15/month or 2GB for $25/month), but there doesn't appear to be any incentive to sign up to a long-term contract. What's worse, that $650 price tag is $30 more than the 16GB iPad with both Wi-Fi and 3G baked in that AT&T also sells.
It will be interesting to see how the Galaxy Tab fares now that it's finally accessible. So far, reviews have been a mixed bag, with at least one site (Gizmodo) calling the device a "pocketable train wreck" while The Wall Street Journal declared it a "serious alternative to the iPad and one that will be preferred by some folks." Keep your eyes peeled for our own impression in a future review.
