Galaxy Tab Reportedly Landing at AT&T November 21st

It looks like everyone is set to join Samsung's Galaxy Tab party, including AT&T, the one-time exclusive carrier of Apple's iPad and still the only game in town when it comes to the iPhone. Bear in mind that nothing is yet official, but according to an AT&T training document that found its way to the Web, the wireless carrier plans to carry the Galaxy Tab starting November 21, 2010.

If you plan on picking one up, be sure to bring your plastic. According to the leaked document, AT&T will sell the device sans contract for an "HQ Recommended" $650. Optional data plans run the same as for the iPad ($250MB for $15/month or 2GB for $25/month), but there doesn't appear to be any incentive to sign up to a long-term contract. What's worse, that $650 price tag is $30 more than the 16GB iPad with both Wi-Fi and 3G baked in that AT&T also sells.

It will be interesting to see how the Galaxy Tab fares now that it's finally accessible. So far, reviews have been a mixed bag, with at least one site (Gizmodo) calling the device a "pocketable train wreck" while The Wall Street Journal declared it a "serious alternative to the iPad and one that will be preferred by some folks." Keep your eyes peeled for our own impression in a future review.
