Feast Your Eyes On This Gory, Giblet-Filled E3 Gameplay Trailer For Doom

It’s been too long since we stalked the halls of the hapless Martian military base in Doom 3, blowing monsters to bits and cursing at the gameplay mechanic that dropped bad guys directly behind us. Now, with rumors of a Doom 4 having been proven true, we’re dying to get back in there and settle the score.

Doom big guy

By the looks of the Doom trailer that Bethesda put on YouTube just yesterday, things are going to get even gorier. Doom 3 was intensely bloody, but the new game really puts the id Tech 6 graphics engine to use, creating ‘realistic’ explosions of zombie limbs and flesh.

As in games past, you’ll have a variety of weapons with which to dismember your demonic opponents. The buzz saw looks like it’s going to be a heck of a lot of fun. The game is expected to come out in the Spring of 2016. That’s a long time to wait to get your hands on the BFG. (That is it at the end of the trailer, right?)
