Coming This Summer: The Droid Bionic

In April, we learned that Motorola's hot new Droid Bionic smartphone for Verizon Wireless might not be available as early as initially hoped. At that time, all estimates pointed to a summer launch. Now, summer is in full swing and sure enough, Verizon Wireless has launched a special sign-up page for the Droid Bionic.

Although we still don’t know when the phone will actually make its debut, the fact that Verizon Wireless is starting to promote the phone is a good sign that the phone should be launching soon. By entering your email address on the Droid Bionic sign-up page, Verizon Wireless says you'll be among the first to know about the details and launch dates surrounding the phone.

If you'll recall, the Droid Bionic was announced at CES in January. It features a 4.3-inch qHD display, 4G LTE capabilities, a dual-core 1GHz processor, and front- and rear-facing cameras. For a closer look at this phone, check out our video from CES below:
