Bioshock Bringing Rapture to Apple Land For iOS Device

For those of us who find most mobile games to be unengaging, the rise of so-called “premium” games on mobile platforms is a welcome development. Big names have been trotting out the likes of Modern Combat 5: Blackout (Gameloft) and Mass Effect: Infiltrator (EA), which tend to carry high price tags, but pack better graphics and gameplay that your typical $1.99 game or freebie. Now, 2K is readying the original Bioshock for iOS. You could be playing Bioshock on your iPad as early as this summer.

Reviewers who have had had the chance to try an in-progress version of the game say that the games graphics are very good, though some sacrifices clearly had to be made to keep the game mobile-friendly. Controller buttons appear on screen and make for decent gameplay, but the game also supports third-party controllers like the Moga Hero Power. The price for the game hasn’t been announced yet, but the iOS requirements have: you’ll need an iPhone 5 or newer, an iPad Mini 2 or iPad4, or an iPad Air. What would you pay for game like Bioshock?
