Bang & Olufsen Debuts Pricey BeoLab 11 Wall-Mountable Subwoofer
The new BeoLab 11 subwoofer brings a whole new look to subwoofers, and honestly, it's pretty discrete. That means you can place it anywhere and it'll look good; it's one of the rare subs that can be placed on the floor, in a corner, or even mounted on the wall. Inside the chassis resides a pair of identical loudspeaker cabinets with baffles, and the outer shells are made of aluminum. Each of those shells can be popped off in order to customize to fit your color scheme.
The BeoLab 11 will be shipping to North American showroom locations by mid-May 2010, with initial color options including silver anodized aluminum and painted white; shortly after, it will be offered in black, dark grey, red, blue, and golden anodized aluminum. Hopefully you're prepared for sticker shock, because the MSRP will range from $1997 to $2574.
