AT&T Stores Will Get Galaxy S III On July 6
AT&T customers who have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the popular Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone at their local store won't have to wait much longer. The wireless carrier announced plans to offer the smartphone in stores on July 6. Customers who preordered the phone should have already received their device; AT&T says "thousands" of its customers placed preorders. In addition to announcing store availability on July 6, AT&T plans to offer the Galaxy S III online with overnight shipping starting on the same day. AT&T isn't the first carrier to face shipping delays with the Galaxy S III. Sprint stores began offering the phone earlier this week. T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless have also faced shipping delays due to Samsung's production delays and high demand.

Thousands of customers, who just couldn’t wait, have already preordered it and have the device in hand. The reviews are fantastic and now it will be available for same day purchase in AT&T company-owned retail stores and online with overnight shipping starting July 6.

As a product manager, I’ve been fortunate to be able to work on the Galaxy S III since the early concepts and am very pleased with the results. I love being able to quickly launch applications like email, AT&T Messages and even the camera right from the lock screen.
