AT&T users are now able to use the BlackBerry Bridge application to tether their BlackBerry smartphone with the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet. The BlackBerry Bridge app is available from the BlackBerry App World.
With the BlackBerry Bridge application, you’ll see a mirror of the messages, contacts, calendar, memopad, tasks, and BlackBerry Messenger items that are available on your BlackBerry smartphone. The BlackBerry Bridge app also lets you use the Internet connection from a BlackBerry smartphone to browse the Internet on the PlayBook tablet. This is particularly useful when a Wi-Fi connection is unavailable. Keep in mind that you’ll have to pay an extra fee for this feature, however.
If you’re interested in checking out the BlackBerry Bridge app, the Inside BlackBerry Help Blog has instructions on setting up the app and many other tutorials.
