You can preorder the VCS Collector's Edition with old school [real] woodgrain trim across the front for $299, which comes with a Classic Joystick. For those that want to go all-out, you can get the VCS Collector's Edition with Classic Controller and Modern Controller for $339. You can also separately purchase the controllers or get them together in a bundle for $59.
As for the actual system specs, here the rundown from Atari:

As for peripheral support, Atari says that Bluetooth and USB controllers, keyboards and mice are supported. You'll also be able to hookup external webcams, microphones and speakers to the system.
Atari has a fundraising target of $100,000 for the VCS, but has blown past that with $1,725,093 raised as of this afternoon from 6,526 backers.
While all of this is exciting news, we have to caution you that it will be a long wait before these preorders actually ship. All of the console packages listed show a shipping time of July 2019, which is a punch to the gut for those wanting to get their hands on the console ASAP.
