Asus Livens Up Eee PC Line With Seashell 1008HA
The miniature notebook weighs in at 1.1kg (2.42 pounds) and includes a 10" display, ergonomically designed keyboard, intelligent energy management system and an intuitive multi-touch touchpad. The most striking difference between this Eee PC and the others (like the 1000HE) is the stunning exterior. The smooth, slim lines are created though an In-Mold Roller technology, which definitely looks amazing and prevents against scuffs and scratches. As for the specifications, it boasts a LED-backlit WSVGA glare-type display, a 92% full-size keyboard, a frame that's just 1" thick, 6 hours of battery life and the Super Hybrid Engine, which intelligently monitors the programs being used and deploys just the right amount of power required, all the while conserving power by constantly making adjustments between performance and power. Finally, there is a 2.5" SATA II 160GB hard disk drive, 10GB of online Eee Storage (accessible anywhere via the Internet), 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and an Atom N280 processor.
