Apple iOS Boots Up First In-Car Demonstration Driving A Smart Ferrari
According to CNBC, Apple’s car OS will first be integrated with--what else--Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz, and Volvo vehicles. It’s not at all surprising to see cars that run on the same (or a similar) platform to the phones people carry with them. Frankly, it’s a completely natural evolution.

Most of us already use our phones in vehicles in one way or another, whether that’s connecting to the car’s audio system and playing music, getting turn-by-turn navigation, pulling up maps, talking or texting (hopefully just the passengers), and more. Integrating that use more tightly with actual cars makes plenty of sense.

Reportedly, Siri will be a big part of the platform, which should extend to other car manufacturers later this year.
