As the Android stable grows, it's becoming easier and easier to find
Android tablets from companies you may not have heard of before. Ainol is one such company, producing a new dual-core Novo 7 Crystal tablet with a 1.5GHz processor. Not to be outdone, it's also offering Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), an OS that only a few Android tablets boast these days. The unit packs an Amlogic 8726-M6 Cortex A9 processor, 1GB of memory, 8GB of storage, a 7" touch panel, and a Mali 400 GPU. The display has a native 1024x600 resolution, with the whole unit weighing 0.72lbs. and measuing 0.4" thick. It'll ship in black and white, with 802.11n Wi-Fi, an optional 3G connection, a mini-HDMI port, and a microSD card slot as well. As for pricing? There's no word on that just yet, sadly.
