3DMark Updated with 64-Bit Version for iPhone 5s, iPad Air and iPad Mini with Retina
Futuremark says the iPad Air, iPhone 5S, and second generation iPad mini will all see "slightly" improved scores with the newest 3DMark (version 1.2.0).
3DMark is a popular benchmark and one that we frequently use when evaluating a range of hardware, from graphics cards to laptops and desktops. With the latest iterations, 3DMark can also be run on mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones. In addition, you can compare scores of two totally different devices using the cross-platform benchmark.
As for adding 64-bit support, it will be interesting to see how much of a boost Apple's latest devices get. Preliminary data suggests that it's a bit early to get excited about 64-bit SoCs
