Apple's OS X Mavericks Likely Launching Later This Month
9to5Mac says that several sources have indicated that the AppleCare support staff is now training on Mavericks, learning its new features as well as the installation process and how to handle troubleshooting. The staff will participate in training for six hours for the next few weeks until Mavericks hits the market.
It’s possible that Apple will release it shortly after its Q4 earnings call this month. (We wouldn’t mind seeing that amazing-looking, cylindrical Apple Mac Pro debut, either.)
Among the new features in Mavericks are Finder tabs, the ability to add tags to saved documents, improved multiple display support, support for OpenGL 4, and intelligent power states to make better use of the CPU.
