iMo Foto Frame Printer: Half Photo Frame, Half Printer

At first we assumed that digital photo frames with integrated printers were just some sort of sideshow. And who knows, maybe they are. But one thing is for sure--they just keep coming and coming. The next on the list is the iMo Foto Frame Photo Printer, which is actually being sold by the same folks who engineered the Mimo line of USB-based secondary monitors.

The company claims that this is the world's first patented device to combine display and printing capabilities, but we're not so sure based on the others that we've seen emerge before it. At any rate, there's a 8" 800x600 display for showing off slideshows and a printer that pops out 4"x6" photographs at 300x300dpi. As a standalone device, the frame-printer combo requires no computer connectivity, and it'll show JPEGs up to 16MP in size. There's a three-button navigation control pane as well as the ability to play back videos and MP3 files.

The whole device weighs just 4.85lbs. and supports USB, CF, SD/MS/MMC/xD card formats. It's available to order now for $229.99, while 36-print replacement cartridges are also available for $19.99.
