RadioShack To Offer T-Mobile Phones & Services

Later this summer, T-Mobile customers will be able to head to their local RadioShack in order to purchase handsets, accessories, and services. The new retail agreement between RadioShack and T-Mobile expands RadioShack’s postpaid wireless offerings and brings some of T-Mobile’s highly anticipated handsets, such as the T-Mobile myTouch 3G with Google, to the retailer. For T-Mobile, the agreement nearly doubles the number of retail partners nationwide that offer the company’s postpaid products and services. RadioShack is now T-Mobile’s largest retail partner.

“RadioShack is focused on growing our mobility category and is committed to providing our customers with a broad selection of the best wireless products and services in the industry,” said Peter Whitsett, executive vice president and general merchandising manager at RadioShack. “The ability to offer a full line of T-Mobile devices, including the hottest exclusive T-Mobile handsets, reinforces RadioShack’s leadership in wireless.”

RadioShack has approximately 4,450 company-operated locations. Additionally, the retailer offers one of the largest selections of wireless phones and provides knowledgeable sales associates to help customers find the best handset or solution to meet their needs. T-Mobile continues to expand its retail footprint. The company currently has more than 1,900 company-owned retail locations and distribution agreements with a number of national retailers.
