Military Shooter ArmA III Comes to Steam and Retail Sept 12th

Although it’s not going to be available in Iran, military shooter Arma III will be out for everyone else on September 12th. The game, which offers military gameplay in a giant sandbox, has exited beta and is now ready for primetime.

Arma III will include the Altis (270 square km) and Strattis (20 square km) open terrains as well as a dozen single-player showcases (with the single player campaign coming across three post-launch DLC episodes), 3 faction showcases, and 9 multiplayer scenarios. In addition to 10 firing drill challenges, users can employ 20 different vehicles and 40 weapons and be part of 5 factions. There’s also scenario editing and support for modding.

The game will be available at retail and on Steam, with the Digital Deluxe Edition for Steam costing $59.99. Enjoy the trailer above--Arma III looks terrific, due in part to the Real Virtuality 4.0 Engine keeping the animations fluid and the sound realistic.
