Microsoft is in the process of retooling its Xbox app on Windows 10, as it looks to bridge the divide between gaming on PC and playing on its Xbox One console. We saw this recently with the Xbox Game Bar that got pushed out with the May 2019 Update for Windows 10. Taking things a step further, Microsoft has renamed its Xbox app to "Xbox Console Companion" in the Windows Store. For the now, the app is the same as before, only with a new name. It includes a Friends list and provides information on upcoming events, recently played games, and a bunch of other stuff. There is also an activity feed.
