Zotac First to Announce New GeForce GTX 560 SE Graphics Card
NVIDIA disabled two SMs in the GeForce GTX 560 SE and gave it just 288 stream processors and 48 texture units. By comparison, the GeForce GTX 560 Ti sports 384 stream processors and 64 texture units.
"The new Zotac GeForce GTX 560 SE gives gamers a taste of stunning 1080p gaming on a budget," Zotac stated in a press release.
Zotac's card wields 1GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 3,828MHz on a 192-bit bus. The GPU struts along at 746MHz, and the shader clock is set at 1,492MHz. Connectivity options include dual DVI ports, HDMI, and DisplayPort outputs.
There's no mention of price or a release date, though reports around the Web suggest the GTX 560 SE will sell for around $150 and go up against AMD's Radeon HD 7770.
