Xbox 360 Spring Bundle May Be Last Hurrah Before Durango
First things first -- the Xbox 360 250GB Spring Value Bundle, as it's being called, ships with the latest version of the Xbox 360, a 250GB hard drive, wireless controller, headset, Darksiders II, Batman: Arkham City (via download), and a free month of Xbox Live Gold. It runs $300 and is available on Amazon (or soon will be -- currently shows "Temporarily out of stock").
It doesn't come with a Kinect motion control sensor, which you can purchase separately for about $90. If the bundle doesn't float your boat, or you want to save a few bucks, you can still find the Holiday Value Bundle online for around $273. The only differences between the two are the games -- the Holiday version ships with Forza 4 Essentials Edition and Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (via download).
Another option is to wait things out. Microsoft is expected to announce its Xbox 720 console in April, which will likely be available to purchase this holiday shopping season, same as Sony's PlayStation 4.
