Samsung's Galaxy Tab line isn't quite what it used to be, and you can thank
Apple for that. While the overall look and feel remains the same, Samsung has added a few stylistic design tweaks that are neither here nor there, but we suppose they're necessary to keep the lawyers at bay. At any rate, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is now available at your local
Verizon Wireless store, complete with a 3G / 4G LTE radio. Those who opt for this version will be able to surf at home on Wi-Fi, or on the go by tapping into VZW's expansive network. Unlike prior carrier tablet sales, VZW's opting to sell this one at full retail, eschewing the contractual route. It'll cost you $499.99 with no agreement, and you'll be allowed to pick up month-to-month service for $30 (4GB), or right up to $60 for 10GB/month.
As for specs, you're looking at Android 4.0, 8GB of flash storage, a 10.1" display, and a microSD card slot. It should be ready to ship shortly after Thanksgiving.
