‘The Walking Dead’s’ Norman Reedus Tapped To Star In ‘Silent Hill’ Game Sequel

Sony has announced a new Silent Hill game that will star ‘The Walking Dead’s’ own Norman Reedus. Titled Silent Hills, the next installment to the horror franchise was revealed at Gamescom on Tuesday though there were not many details provided about the game.

PlayStation users were able to download a demo from the PlayStation Store titled P.T. (Playable Teaser) that had players traverse through the same hallway over and over from a first-person perspective. With each progression through the hallway, the aesthetics would change to more creepy and disturbing imagery with short events occurring.

Playing through the teaser eventually leads to a teaser trailer that shows a man walking down a street at night with buildings on either side. When the man turns, it is revealed to be actor Norman Reedus who is providing the voice and likeness for the game. In addition, Silent Hills is being developed by Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima, and his studio Kojima Productions, in collaboration with film director Guillermo del Toro (Pacific Rim and Hellboy).

No release date, or what platform Silent Hills will be available for, has been provided.

Are you ready to return to the town called Silent Hill?
