Google Play Audio Book And Game Sale Celebrates Star Wars Day
It's May 4th and at least one person near you has said "May the 4th Be With You Today" which is the official catchphrase of Star Wars Day. If you are a Star Wars fan and want to celebrate the day by spending some money, Google Play has a sale for you. To celebrate the day all sorts of audio books, comics, TV shows, and games are on sale.
Most of the audiobooks are 25% off with some of the notable titles including The Last Jedi: Expanded Edition, Thrawn (Star Wars), Aftermath: Star Wars: Journey to Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and Catalyst (Star Wars): A Rogue One Novel. If audiobooks aren't your bag, there are e-books and comics in the sale as well.
Notable titles in those genres include Star Wars: The New Republic - Dark Empire Trilogy, Star Wars: Darth Vader Vol. 1- Vader, and a bunch more titles. There are several books by Timothy Zahn in there and he does a fantastic job in the Star Wars universe. If you don't feel like reading, you can buy or rent the movies from the original trilogy to the new stuff and everything in between, but there are no discounts on those.
Star Wars TV shows like Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels are offered along with plenty of games. Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, Star Wars: Commander and a bunch of other games are available. Some of the games are free but supported with in-app purchases. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is on sale for $4.99, which is about half off.
