If you're hanging tight to
Sprint, and you're a fan of
Android, you're probably interested in knowing when your smartphone will finally get the gift of Android 4.0. While launched on the Galaxy Nexus way back in the winter of last year, Ice Cream Sandwich has rolled out to an exceedingly small amount of phones. But now, Sprint is coming clean with their plans on making a difference. According to a blast from the carrier, Ice Cream Sandwich will be available via an over-the-air update to a variety of devices including Galaxy S II, Epic 4G Touch and Nexus S, as well as "other key products" that Sprint isn't exlaborating on just yet.
We're asked to "stay tuned" for more details on that front in the coming weeks, and considering that no exact timing is given, well, that's about the only option you've got. Thankfully, at least, it seems as if Android 4.0 is finally starting to hit so many phones that it should've hit months ago. And you can bet you'll hear more about Android 5.0 at Google I/O in June. Ah, the rolling ball of technology.
