Sony Slashes PS Vita 3G Pricing To $200
Gaming site Joystiq posted a full list of eligible stores, of which there are 16 out of 22 total storefronts situated in California, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.
The discounted bundle includes the handheld, 8GB memory card, and a voucher for a free PlayStation Network game contingent upon signing up for a data plan.
What's interesting is the lack of communication with store employees. Joystiq said it called each and every store about the sale, and it received conflicting information depending on who answered the phone. One employee said it's likely this is a permanent price drop due to Sony discontinuing the model, while another employee said the sale would only last until Sunday. On Sony's website, the system is still listed at $300.
