OMG: A Keyboard for Blondes!
First of all, the Keyboard for Blondes is a real keyboard. It has all the normal functionality you would expect from a traditional keyboard. It has 103 keys, is USB based, and works with both Windows PCs and Macs. As to why it is pink, the Keyboard for Blondes Website explains, "Pink is the new black!" And being a blonde is not necessarily as prerequisite for owning one either, as the site further offers, "this keyboard is for anyone who has ever had a blonde moment or... two, has a good sense of humor and likes to have fun! Afterall [sic] being blonde is not just your hair color."

Additional "fun" keys include:
- TAB = "Useless Key"
- Tilde/Tick = "Any Key"
- Caps Lock = "Warning size XXL letters"
- Shift = "Smart Blonde Button"
- Esc = "No!"

Perhaps the most unique feature of the keyboard, however, is that with the proprietary Keynguru software, some of the buttons "talk." The Keyboard for Blondes site doesn't go into great detail as to exactly how the keyboard "talks," but we suspect that it just means that the press of certain key combinations will trigger specific audio files to automatically play on the PC. Only a Windows XP/Vista version of the Keynguru software is currently available; Mac and Linux versions are "coming soon."
The Keyboard for Blondes sells for $49.95 and the Keyboard for Blondes Website is presently taking orders. We can't be completely certain that the Keyboard for Blondes is actually a real product, and isn't just an elaborate practical joke or cyber-performance-art piece. If it is a real product, it is anyone's guess if people will feel that this very kitschy product is worth $50. Maybe it is due for a cameo appearance on Ugly Betty? Perhaps the big question we need ask ourselves, however, is should HotHardware request an evaluation unit so that we can review it? We're only half kidding...
