NZXT Announces Aperture M Media Reader

For as useful as case-mounted USB ports are for connecting USB devices quickly to your computer, removable media comes in an increasingly wide variety of formats. Having a media reader as part of your machine’s array of front-panel ports is mighty handy, and NZXT just released a full-featured one that will give your rig a nice upgrade.

The Aperture M is a 5.25-inch unit with a mesh design that slots into an ODD tray. It sports your standard pair of USB 3.0 ports, which is always nice to have, but it also supports a host of media cards.

NZXT claims the Aperture M supports “nearly every media card in the market”, and indeed, it can handle CF, MD, SM, XD, SD, SDHC, SDXC, MMC, MS, M2, and MSD cards. The price tag is $34.99, which isn't a bad deal for those who want to ensure that their machine supports any media card they'll come across.
