Moto G5S Plus Leaks In The Wild With Metal Body And Snapdragon 625

Photos of the Moto G5S Plus were recently leaked and offer a revealing glimpse of the mysterious and much-anticipated device. The Moto 65S Plus appears to feature a metal body as well as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625.

The Moto G5S Plus reportedly features an all-metal body. The G5 and G5 Plus only include an aluminum back-plate that is surrounded by a plastic body. The G5S Plus also features the classic Moto “dimple” that was missing from the G5 and G5 Plus. The screen is 5.5-inches and there is a dual camera setup on the back.

The leaks also reveal that the setting is written as “Moto G (4) NZAE130706”. The device appears to include a Snapdragon 625 (based on the M8953 designation) in the setting menu and 4GB of RAM. The G5S Plus currently runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat as well.

According to several other leaked photos, Moto plans to launch a number of new devices in 2017 and 2018. One Tweet revealed that Moto X4, which is said to incorporate a 5.2-inch "3D glass" display and a "SmartCam”. A video leak posted to reddit also indicated that the Moto X4 will include a Snapdragon 660 processor, a hefty 3,800 mAh battery, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and a fingerprint reader.

Moto fans should also expect a Z2 Play and Z2 Force devices. The upcoming Z2 Play will include 5.5-inch FHD display and support for Moto Mods, while the new Force will incorporate Gigabit LTE connectivity. Motorola also hinted that there will be two new Moto E’s, one with a 5,000 mAh battery, and two Moto C’s, one with a 4,000 mAh battery.

It is unclear when most of these devices will be available, however, many anticipate that most of these smartphones will be released by the end of 2017.
