Maingear Boards the All-in-One Bandwagon with Solo PC Series

They also know how to spot a popular market trend and roll with it, as the company is doing with its freshly unveiled Solo 21 All-in-One (AIO) system.

"Following their trend of fully customizable products, the Maingear Solo 21 is the first fully upgradeable all-in-one today, including the ability to upgrade the motherboard to accommodate future technology advances."
We've seen some upgradeable AIO systems in the past, but none that have made it easy to get inside and swap out the motherboard as Maingear claims is the case with its Solo 21. That isn't the only unique feature. Maingear says the Solo 21 is the first AIO to sport SSD caching.

The above setup runs $1,000, which is fairly impressive for an AIO with a boutique pedigree and all the upgradeability that's infused. It has a 21.5-inch Full HD 1080 LED-backlit display, and for an additional $129, you can upgrade to one with a 10-point touch interface.
