Apple's Jonathan Ive, Knighted
Although Steve Jobs garners the lion’s share of the credit for much of Apple’s product design, Ive and his eye for industrial design deserves a great deal of acclaim. Products including the iMac, iPhone, and iPad bear his mark. Jobs spoke of Ive as as a "spiritual partner" in a recent biography of himself written by Walter Isaccson. However, the bio described Mr. Ive as "hurt" by Jobs who took credit for innovations that came from Ive's design team.
Knighthood isn’t the first time Ive has been recognized by the crown; he was made a Commander of the British Empire (CBE) in 2005.

Of course, the best part about becoming a knight is that he can legitimately require his co-workers and underlings to call him “Sir Jony”.
